Green Boutique is a private chapel in Gowanus that I run. Book a time and I'll marry you there, from $699.
What you get
- A private 45 minute appointment in the chapel
- A ceremony of about 10 minutes, with a few photos
- Me as your officiant, in English, signing your marriage license on the spot

- A witness for $100, if you do not bring one

Who the chapel suits
The chapel is for two people who want a real ceremony and a signed license without planning a whole day around it. It is indoors, so the weather does not matter. It is private, so it is just you and your guests. And it is short, so it works on a weekday lunch break or the morning before a flight.
I lead the ceremony and sign your license before you leave. If you want a longer ceremony, or one written around the two of you, my packages are the better fit.
How it works
Pick a date
Choose a day and time on the Green Boutique calendar.
Get your license
Apply with the NYC City Clerk. It has to be issued at least 24 hours before the ceremony.
Show up
I run the ceremony and sign your license. You return it to the City Clerk afterward.
Questions about the chapel
How long do we have in the chapel?
You have a private 45 minute appointment. The ceremony itself takes about 10 minutes, and the rest covers a few photos. Guests can't arrive early, and everyone leaves when the 45 minutes end.
How many guests can come?
Up to 20 guests.
Can we get married on a weekend?
No. The chapel is open for ceremonies on weekdays only.
Do we need a marriage license first?
Yes. You apply for it with the NYC City Clerk, and it has to be issued at least 24 hours before the ceremony. I sign it at the chapel, and you return it to the City Clerk afterward.
Do we need a witness?
Yes, you need a witness. If you do not bring one, we provide a witness for $100, with at least 48 hours notice.
Is the ceremony in English or Italian?
The chapel ceremony is in English. For Italian or a bilingual ceremony, look at my packages and choose a spot you like.
Can we change the date?
You can change the date or time up to 7 days before the ceremony, depending on availability. Bookings are not refundable, so check the current terms on the Green Boutique site before you book.
Can we bring a photographer?
Photography is priced separately and the details are on the Green Boutique page.
